Night Number 3

Great news! Scallop did not throw up any more. Am feeding him purely Fish4Dogs small bites kibbles. Soaked in warm water for 30 seconds and just let him eat peacefully alone. Also spread the meal times (maintaining the same overall portion) to 3 times (6am, 6pm, 9pm) instead of 2. He finished everything quietly, unlike the day before, eating and whining and barking all at the same time.

We are hoping that he's more or less settled. The moment we reached home, we will purposely ignore him totally and simply go about our daily chores for a few mins. So far he behaved himself well as long as nobody step into the kitchen. Once someone goes to the kitchen and leave again, he will start howling...

Scallop was not co-operative before bed last night. Started whining after being left alone for a while, which escalate steadily to howling. Was so fed up I gave him a scruff shake, growled at him and locked him up in the crate for 5 mins. Kinda work though and we had peace.

Also managed to cut off a few small bits of his nails and some paw hairs. Gotta get him used to these basic grooming. He also had his 2nd teeth brushing session. Will probably change to a proper toothbrush instead of the ridiculously expensive finger microfibre cloth in a few days time.

Throughout the night, once again, he started making whining noises at 3am. According to wifey, he whined abt 5 times from 3-5.30am. Being a sound sleeper, I only heard once at 4am. We believed it to be an improvement though. Hopefully he will soon learn to remain quiet throughout the night.

Morning behavior was commendable. Rewarded him with belly rubs which he seem to enjoy tremendously!
